- Glen T. Vanden Wyngaard, Menasha, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 15, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born on July 29, 1948, son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Nowak) Vanden Wyngaard. Glen worked for many years with Alcan, owned and operated Glen's Glass and Screen Repair, and most recently worked for Standard Parking in Appleton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Glen is survived by his wife, Janie; daughters: Jill and Jackie; sons: Marty and Danny; seven brothers: Donald, Little Chute; Harold, Kimberly; Wayne (Pam), Appleton; Steve (Cheryl), Menasha; Bruce, Kimberly, Mike, Kimberly, Mark (Jennifer), Neenah; six sisters: Mary (Darryl) Baumgart, Kaukauna; Barb (sp. friend Steve Kern) Leach, Appleton; Lois (Jim) Jansen, Kaukauna; Ann (Dennis) Hoffman, Florida; Sharon (sp. friend Larry) Treichel, Larsen; Patty (sp. friend Terry) Vanden Wyngaard, AZ; three step-brothers; four step-sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-father, Ralph Hansen, brother, Jeff, step-brother, Gary Treichel, nephew, Steven Vanden Wyngaard.
Private family services will be held. Glen will be buried at the Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery at King. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
