  Glenn J. Schneider, Little Chute, passed away peacefully in his home on May 17, 2007, at the age of 79. Glenn was born to Joe and Min Schneider of Hollandtown. Glenn took over his family farm in 1958 and farmed there until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed spending the winter months in Texas with his wife Joan where they enjoyed fishing and spending time with their friends. Glenn also enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada with his four sons and friends. He had a love for gardening, which was made clear by his beautiful backyard where he spent countless hours. Glenn is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan (Ellenbecker) Schneider; four sons: Mike (Sue) Schneider of Kaukauna and daughters Elizabeth and Emily; Cliff (Cindy) Schneider of Appleton and their daughters Erica (Rob) Tiedt, Crystal (fiance Jacob Lepke), Courtney and Brooke; Dan (Jackie) Schneider of San Jose, California, and their daughters Karina, Jeanelle and Ashley; Dave (Amy) Schneider of Menomonie and their sons Bryce and Caleb; four sisters: Marie (Pete) Ruys of Kimberly; Lorraine Lennon of Florida; JoAnn Schneider of Florida; Rosemond (George) Ebben of Little Chute; and a sister-in-law Ann Schneider. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Min, brothers: Frank and Robert, and a sister-in-law Margaret Schneider. The funeral liturgy for Glenn will be held on Monday, May 21, 2007, at 5 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Friends may call at the church from 3 p.m. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established with Hospice. Heart of the Valley Crematory
