- Mader, GordGordon Mader, Town of Harrison, age 84, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Par kside Care Center in Little Chute, WI. Gordon was born December 6, 192 1, to the late George and Anna (Probst) Mader in Darboy. He served in t he U.S. Navy during World War II returning after his honorable discharg e. Gordon married the former Ruth Welhouse on September 6, 1949, at St. Ma ry's Catholic Church in Kaukauna. He was a lifelong member of Holy Ange ls Catholic Church in Darboy and past Commander and past Chaplin with t he American Legion Post 265 of Darboy. Gordon ran the family dairy farm wi th his brother Edward. He was an accomplished carpenter, a seasoned barten der and enjoyed card playing, especially sheepshead. He especially enjoy ed spending time with family and friends.He is survived by his wife, Ruth; their five children, Kenny (Diane) Mad er and their three children, Bryan, Trent & Alyssa; Francis (Diane) Mad er and their daughter, Andrea (Dominick) Sopkovich and their son, Ivan; Je annie Mader; Patty (Howard) Mader-Ebert and their three children, Alliso n, Jackie & Jaimee and Tony (Sue) Mader and their two children Jordan & Lu cas; two sisters-in-law, Mary Mader and Mona Welhouse; many nieces and nep hews; and a special friend, Terri Larson.He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and three sister s.Gordon's Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 200 6, at Holy Spirit Parish at HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Darboy, with F r. Tom Pomeroy and Fr. Jim Neilson concelebrating. Viewing and visitati on will be Monday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr ive, Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. until the Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. a nd again on Tuesday at Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In terment will follow the service in the Parish Cemetery.
