  Pioneer Resident Of Kimberly Dies George Welhouse 82, Succumbs at His Home This Morning Kimberly--George Welhouse, 82, pioneer resident of Kimberly, died at his home at 8:30 this morning after a lingering illness. Mr. Welhouse is believed to have lived in Kimberly longer than any other resident, a period of 75 years. He was born Jan. 5, 1857, in Holland and came to the United States with his parents when 5 years old. Mr Welhouse retired from farming 25 years ago. He and his widow observ- ed their golden wedding anniver- sary Jan. 10, 1932. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. Besides the widow, survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Klein, Kaukauna; Mrs. Peter Ebben. Kimberly; a son, John, Kimberly; TWO sisters. Mrs. Mary Heinz, Mrs. Anna Van Denzen, Kaukauna; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren The body is at Jansen-Ellenbecker Funeral home. Tuesday Evening, November 7,1939 APPLETON POST-CRESCENT Page Seven Welhouse Services To be Held Thursday Kimberly - Funeral services for George Welhouse, 82, a resident of Kimberly for 75 years, who died Tuesday morning, will be conducted Thursday morning. The cortege will leave the Jansen-Ellenbecker funeral parlors at 8:30 and services at Holy Name church will be conducted at 9 o'clock by the Rev. C. B. Vanden Borne. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery at Appleton. The body may be viewed at the funeral parlors up to the time of the funeral.
