- Evangeline E. Fritz, 98, New London, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on Aug. 7, 1909, in the Township of Liberty, daughter of the late William and Ida (Marasch) Sengstock. On March 13, 1926, she married Daniel Weber, who preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1928. On March 22, 1934, she married Emil Fritz, who preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2006. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.
She is survived by a daughter, Beulah Jane Homan, Norfolk, Va.; a son, Richard (Janice) Fritz, New London; grandchildren, Kim (Peter) Brunner, Maple Grove, Minn.; Celes (Gary) Price, Virginia Beach, Va.; great-grandchildren, Erin Brunner, Lane Homan and Chase Homan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, infant son, sister, brother and grandchild.
The Funeral Service for Evangeline will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. Interment will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
