- Diedrick, Martha M.Martha Mary (Gloudemans) Diedrick, age 88, went to say her rosary with t he Lord on July 1, 2006, at Angelus Retirement Community in Appleton whe re she had been living for the past year. She was born on May 10, 191 8, to Henry and Harriet "Hattie" (Vosters) Gloudemans in Little Chute. Hat tie died a few days before Martha's 6th birthday. A couple of years late r, Henry married a widow, Elizabeth (Molitor) Schumacher. Their union ma de Martha one of 15 children.Martha married Elmer M. Diedrick on June 25, 1940. Elmer predeceased h er on November 13, 1997. They lived most of their married life in Applet on where they were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church.Martha is survived by her eight children: Char (Fred) Steenis, Town of Men asha; Jan Diedrick, Appleton; JoAnne (Tom) Schuler, Town of Buchanan; Rich ard (Yang) Diedrick, Woodbridge, VA; Julie (Gary) Van Camp, Freedom; Ron " Elmer" Diedrick, Appleton; Terri Diedrick, Appleton; Larry Diedrick, Apple ton; eight grandchildren: Paul Steenis, Laurie Steenis, Mark (Jeni) Steeni s, Rebecca Hooyman, Ryan (Sarah Rose) Van Camp, Cory (Casey) Van Camp, Ali ssa (Chris Effa) Van Camp, and Paige Diedrick; eight great-grandchildre n: Gretchen Withrow, Eliese Heckert, Jacob Steenis, Ashley Steenis, Dyl an Steenis, Reegan Van Camp, Drew Van Camp, Breleigh Van Camp, and Sawy er Van Camp. She is further survived by her brothers: Bill Gloudemans a nd Tony (Verna) Gloudemans; her sisters: Marian Wilz and Marjorie "Margi e" Meulemans; her brother and sister-in-laws: Ted Van Handel, Margaret Sch umacher, Valeria Gloudemans, and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Gloudemans.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her b rothers: John Gloudemans, Bob Schumacher, Ed Schumacher, Willis Schumache r, Joe Gloudemans, Rich Gloudemans, and Pete Gloudemans (a twin); her sist ers: a baby sister, Mary (a twin), Elizabeth "Lizzie" Van Handel, Anne Sch umacher, Elizabeth "Toots" Schumacher; her in-laws: Bernie Meulemans, Marg aret Gloudemans, Florence Gloudemans, Millie Schumacher and Joe Wilz.Mass of the Resurrection for Martha will be held on Friday, July 7, 200 6, at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 404 W. Lawrence St., Appleto n, WI with the Rev. Larry Abler officiating. Burial will take place at S t. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church Friday fr om 3 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been establis hed.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Ange lus Retirement Community where she has made her home for the past year.
