- Ronald Gloudemans, 74, Neenah, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Vallhaven Care Center, after a challenging battle with Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.
He was born September 22, 1937, in Little Chute, son of John and Margaret (Joseph) Gloudemans. Ronald married Helen G. Johnson July 6, 1972 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Ronald was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Ron participated in RENEW Group for many years with Helen. He was employed at Neenah Foundry as a computer analyst. He was a talented athlete in tennis, football, basketball and softball. Ronald was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished his grandson.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Helen; 3 daughters: Tracy Gloudemans and Brian Ludka, Neenah; Carrie (Ken) Larscheid, Pinckney, MI and their son, Finnegan; Christina (Josh) Ellerbrock, Greenville; brothers and sister: Don Gloudemans, Jack Gloudemans, Joyce (Tom) Vander Pas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Larry, Connie (Suchta), Tim, Chuck, Steve, Scott and Rick; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law; a sister and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Ronald's name.
Ronald was a true man of faith, thankful for a disease that increased his faith and deepened his trust in the Lord. He always took an opportunity to witness his faith to anyone; allowing his suffering to become a positive light in his life for others to learn and grow upon in faith and strength.
