- Bork, Elmer H.Elmer H. Bork, age 84, Lakewood, Wis., died on Friday, May 7, 2004 at Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo. Elmer was born in New London on Nov. 12, 1919, son of the late Arthur and Lydia (Kemp) Bork. He married Marcella Wim berger on Sept. 12, 1987. Elmer was employed at the FW Means and Compan y; now Aramark, in 1955, retiring as Superintendent in 1985 after 30 year s. He loved reading, fishing and hunting. Elmer also loved taking car rid es to view the countryside. He enjoyed playing cards, especially sheephe ad and watching football. Elmer loved the Packers. He was very friendly a nd outgoing with everyone and loved to meet and welcome people. Elmer lov ed his family, they were everything to him.He will be greatly missed by his wife, Marcella; his sons, Dan (Mary) Bor k, Appleton; Tim (Patty) Bork, Menasha; his daughter, Gwynne (Patrick) Par ker, Appleton; step-son, Richard (Wendy) Wimberger, Lakewood; step-daughte r, Joanne (John) Cox, Townsend, Wis.; sister, Elaine (Robert) Schoenik, Ca lif.; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildr en; and one step-great-grandson. Elmer is further survived by many niec es and nephews.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen; his brother, Harland; a nd grandson, Jeffery Cox.The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, Star of Hope Chapel, 3131 North Richmond Street, Ap pleton, with Rev. Dennis Ellisen officiating.
