- Bodoh, Sylvan V. MackvilleAge 92, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2002 at Good Shepherd Home in Se ymour. Sylvan was born December 14, 1909 in New London, the son of the la te George and Margaret (Petit) Bodoh. He farmed in the Town of Center f or most of his life, retiring from farming in 1965. Sylvan then worked f or Fox Tractor for 10 years, retiring in 1975. He was united in marria ge to Lucy Bruecker on October 9, 1935, sharing 63 years together before h er death on April 5, 1999. Sylvan was a long time member of St. Edward's C atholic Church in Mackville. Survivors include three daughters Jean Mar ie (Roger) Zuleger, Pappillion, Neb; Rose Marie (Maynard) Kettner, Shiocto n; Beatrice (Lawrence) Weyers, Black Creek; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-gran dchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In additi on to his parents and wife, Sylvan was preceded in death by 6 brothers: He nry, William, Joseph, Francis, Lawrence and Claire Bodoh; and 4 sisters: E lizabeth Glasnap, Grace Kuenzl, Sister Jeanette Bodoh CSA, and Sister Je an Marie Bodoh CSA. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 7 PM Tuesd ay November 13, 2002 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Mackville, with t he Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Burial will take place at the parish c emetery. Friends may call directly at the church from 4 PM Tuesday until t he time of service.
