- Mrs. Henry Engels, 74, 929 S. Roosevelt street, died at her home late Saturday night after an extended illness. She was a member of the WOTM, the War Mothers, and the Sanctuary society of St. Willebrord's church.
Besides her husband, to whom she was married 56 years ago the deceased is survived by seven sons Andrew, New York City, Martin, San Diego, Calif., and Lawrence, Robert, Joseph, Harold, Vincent, Green Bay ; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Neufuss, Mercier, Mrs. Douglas Freeman, Chicago, and Mrs. Joe Camardese and Mrs. Don Goracke, Green Bay ; 20 grandchildren ; one great grand-child ; two sisters, Mrs. John Simon, Kaukauna, and Mrs. John Stuyvenberg, Kimberly ; and a brother, John Williams, Kimberly. A son, William, died in 1944.
The body is at the Schauer and Schumacher funeral home where the rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight and Tuesday, with the Sanctuary society in attendance Tuesday evening. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, although services will be conducted by the Rev. James J. Wagner in St. Willebrord's church, with burial in Allouez Cemetery. War Mothers will hold a memorial service at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
