- Roberts, Geraldine F., St. Pa ul HomeAge 82, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2004 at St. Paul Home in Kaukaun a. She was born October 19, 1921, daughter of the late Constantine and Har riet (Kobussen) Plutchak. She attended the Kaukauna High School, and on Oc tober 12, 1940 married Kenneth Roberts; he preceded her in death in Ju ly of 1991. Geri loved to bake and cook, and was able to put her skil ls to use when she worked at Hilltop Bakery in Kaukauna. Many will rememb er her for cooking at the Elks Club for many years, as well as donating ti me to the lunch program at St. Aloysius Church. Geri worked as a dietici an / cook at the Kaukauna Community Hospital for many years, and retir ed in 1983. Since high school, Geri had remained dear friends with thr ee of her girlfriends, Joyce, Lorraine, and Grace. They cherished each oth er's friendship for many, many years.Geri is survived by five children: Keith (Judi) Roberts, Laie, Hawaii; P at (Barb Martzahl) Roberts, Milwaukee; Joni Roberts, Appleton; Mary (Mik e) Jansen, Mountain; Julie (Will) Weissheimer, Grayslake, Illinois; nine g randchildren: Jason (Michele) Roberts of Lake Mills, Wisconsin; Ryan (Mati na) Roberts, Houston, Texas; Matthew Roberts, Appleton; Emily Arnoldusse n, Appleton; Marshall and Molly Jansen, Mountain; Ken Weissheimer, Kurt We issheimer, and Jack Weissheimer, all of Grayslake, Illinois; two great-gra ndchildren: Zachary and Rebecca Roberts, Lake Mills; a sister: Margaret Po wers, Arcadia, California. Geri is further survived by a sister-in-law: Ma ry "Bunny" Plutchak, Appleton; brothers-in-law: Richard (Marie) Powers, Ap pleton; Wilfred "Woofie" Powers, Kaukauna; Sherman (Patti) Powers, Denton ,. Texas; by her special high school friend, Grace Handby, Kaukauna; as we ll as by many special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Ge ri was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: William Plutchak and He rbert Plutchak, brothers-in-law: Robert Roberts, Bert (Annie) Roberts, A rt (Dorothy) Roberts; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Powers and Joan Powers.The funeral liturgy for Geri will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Februa ry 5, 2004 at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2401 Main Avenue in Kaukauna w ith Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemete ry, Kaukauna.
