She died of canc er.This woman was a saint. She worked hard all her life, Had no modern conve niences, never thought of herself but always of other and never spent a pe nny on herself. She not only raised her son but raised 5 of her brother 's (Peter) children. She helped raised 5 of her son's children. Educati on unknown.Anna Campbell Dullea had nothing but praise to say about Aunt Susie. S he was one of the children Susie help raise after their Mother died of t he Flu in 1818.
