  b>Dietzen, Roman J. Roman J. Dietzen, Kimberly, age 100, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Rennes Health Center. He was born December 18, 1906, to the late William and Elizabeth (Renn) Dietzen in Darboy. Roman married the former Rosemary Van Dyke. She preceded him in death in 1986. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on March 21, 1942, survived the Battle of the Bulge and drove a halftrack in the 5th Armor Division until his honorable discharge in October of 1945. Roman was a lifelong millwright for KC, retiring after 33 years of employment at age 62. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball as well as hunting and fishing over the years. Time spent with Rosemary on their Lake Winnebago Cottage was one of his favorite things. He also liked to work on small engines, repairing lawn mowers and snow blowers. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Rich (Helen) Dietzen and Les (Elaine) Dietzen and a sister, Lucille (Rich) Gregorius. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2007, at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. All are welcome to join the family for a luncheon following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, 54130. Interment will take place in Holy Name Catholic Cemetery. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family. 920-766-2099. The family would like to thank the staff at Rennes Health Center for the wonderful care they gave Roman this last 2 1/2 years.
