Nash St. HortonvilleDelores Peterson, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother p assed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at St. Joseph Reside nce in New London. She was born on July 28, 1924 in Milwaukee, daught er of the late Frank and Cora (Bemis) Lambie. On June 14, 1975 she was uni ted in marriage to Donald Peterson in Hacienda Heights, California. She wi ll be sadly missed by her husband, Donald; six daughters: Sandra (Robert) Tauscher, Friday Harbor, Washington; Carol (Thomas) Fassbender, Hortonv ille; Sharon (Keith) Krause, Hortonville; Linda Trigueiro, New York; Jan et (Dennis) Jewell, Portland, Oregon; Tammy (Bruce) Weyenberg, New Londo n; four sons: Donald (Butch) Peterson, California; John Hawley, Californi a; Danny Hawley, Washington; Michael (Bonnie) Hawley, California; a siste r, Marian Siebers, California; 19 grandchildren: Kelly (Robert) Ricucci, S usan (David) McCoy, Thomas Stepanski, Scott (Wendy) Fassbender, Jeffery (J ulie) Fassbender, Robin (Barbara) Krause, Ryan (Julie) Krause, Cory Kraus e, Christopher Jewell, Jonathan Trigueiro, Carissa Trigueiro, Jonathan Haw ley, Jeremy Hawley, Justin Hawley, Kimberly Brown, Steven Brown, Samant ha Weyenberg, Karen (Richard) Baldwin, Marla Tauscher and 16 great-grandch ildren: Holly, Carena and Alyssa Fassbender, Ashley, Aaron and Alicia Fass bender, Channa Newman, Christina, Robby Ricucci, Marcus Perry, Tyler Peter son, Olivia Baldwin, Connor Krause and Connor's little brother or sister d ue in April 2004, Baby "K" (Ryan and Julie Krause) due April 2004, Baby Tr igueiro (Carissa) due January 2004. Delores is also survived by a brother- in-law, Cecil (Lola) Peterson, Chico, California. Delores is also surviv ed by numerous nieces and nephews and two special nieces, who were like da ughters to Delores: Beverly Niec and Jackie Barnett. Delores was preced ed in death by her first husband, William Hawley in 1974; two sons: Richa rd and Joseph Hawley; a grandson, Jesse Krause; brothers: Harry, David, Ra ymond and Robert Moon, sister, Alice Stevens, and a brother-in-law, Robe rt (Emma Lou) Peterson and a sister-in-law, Maxine Peterson. Funeral servi ces will be Monday, November 17, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Borchardt & Moder Fune ral Home in Hortonville with Fr. Norman Krutzik officiating. Interment wi ll be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call at the funer al home on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Delores was a won derful person with a great sense of humor and a caring way. She enjoyed da ncing with her husband Donald of 28 wonderful, loving years. She loved wat ching the birds and deer, it gave her great enjoyment. A memorial fund h as been established in Delores's name for Alzheimer's Association, Americ an Cancer Society and the Histiocytosis Association. The family would li ke to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for all the special care t hey gave to Delores.
