- See Image Micke Funeral Set For TuesdayTheodore Micke Sr., Route 3, Cloquet, passed away Friday in St, Mary's Hos pital Duluth at the age of 84 years. Solemn Requiem mass will be held tues day morning at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic church wi th the Rev. Fr. Francis Paquette of Virginia officiating. Burial wi ll be in Calvary cemetery, Cloquet.Mrs Micke was born June 23, 1881 in Hollandtown, Wis. he lived in McGreg or for a time where he operated a resort, coming to Cloquet in 1926. He w as employed by the Northwestern Paper Co. for 20 years prior to his retire ment. He was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish. Surviving a re his wife, Jennie; three sons, Theodore W., Anthony and Gregory, a ll of Cloquet; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Liesen, Fenton, Mich.; Mrs Jo hn Lamers, Kimberly, Wis,; and Sister Marilyn, OSB, Duluth; 21 grand child ren and 33 great grandchildren.

- 1907 Kaukauna Times dated 5/31/1907; One of the most brilliant and prettie st weddings that ever occurred in that vincinity was celebrated Wednesd ay at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. & Mrs John Verbeten of the to wn of Wrightstown, when their daughter Miss Jennie became the bride of The odore Micke of the same town. The bride's brother, Martin Verbeten was be st man and the maid of honor was Miss Nellie Kilsdonk. Miss Nellie Verbete n, the brides sister acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Henry Wilpole was groomsm an. The ceremony was performed at St. Paul's Church at the village of Wrig htstown at nine o'clock. At the home of the brides parents the whole count ry side had received invitations to the event to the number of over two hu ndred, and feasting, fun, and festivities reigned there for nearly twen ty four hours. The Mill & Nugent orchestra furnished the music at this hig hly pleasing event which will long be remembered for its enjoyment to a ll present. Both are well known young people who have hosts of friends w ho extend congratulations and best wishes for sucess in future life. Th ey will commence housekeeping when they return from a honeymoon trip to Ch icago they are now enjoying. Large numbers of the guests were present at t he festivities from this town and the village of Wrightstown.
