- Ella Reynebeau, 99, Little Chute, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at Parkside Care Center. She was born in Marinette on Feb. 7, 1908, to the late Emil and Mary (Garbright) Gartzke. On Sept. 30, 1930, she married Joseph Reynebeau at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where she continued to be a faithful member. Attending Mass and praying the rosary were always important to her. Joe preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1977. Ella and Joe owned and operated Little Chute Recreation Lanes. As they worked side by side all those years, they had as much fun as everyone else did at the bowling alley. Ella always carried a great attitude in life and enjoyed her many friends, especially, Dorothy Spierings and Alice Olson.
Ella is survived by her brother, Robert (Lynn) Gartzke and Godchild, Toni Hawley. She is further survived by her faithful little dog, Teko, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Ella was preceded in death by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Minnie (Clarence) Smith, Florence (Don) Locy, Anita (Jerry) Reichelt and Bernice (Jacob) Elmer; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Alfred (Beatrice) Gartzke, Edward Gartzke, Arnold Gartzke and Ronald (Hilda) Gartzke and an infant brother; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Matthew (Louise) Reynebeau, Marie (John) Keysers, Frances (Henry) Vanden Boogard, John (Vi) Reynebeau, Frank (Tillie) Reynebeau and Ed (Dorothy) Reynebeau; Godchild, Virgil (Butch) Reynebeau and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday Nov. 24, 2007, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Her great nephew, the Rev. Thomas Reynebeau will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
