- Schreiber, AliceAlice Schreiber, Darboy, age 69, died peacefully on Thursday, Decemb er 8, 2005 at Brewster Village surrounded by her family. Alice was born Se ptember 10, 1936, to the late Mary (Grode) and George Sprangers. On Septem ber 10, 1957, she married Michael F. Schreiber, Jr. at Holy Angel Cathol ic Church in Darboy. Growing up in the small farming community of Darbo y, Alice's religious beliefs, hardwork, dedication and love of her fami ly played a very important role in her life. A very dedicated wife and mot her, she always made sure that no one was left out. Kick the can would ha ve never been the same without mom and it was also rumored that she h ad a pretty mean underhand fast pitch. She took great pride in her gardeni ng. With her green thumb, she produced some of the finest fruits and veget ables. Motherhood was very important to mom. She always did without to ma ke sure we as children had enough. Because of mom's dedication, we all ha ve very fond memories of our childhood. We will always remember her lovi ng voice as it echoed throughout the house and at church on Sunday morning s. We love you, mom.She is survived by her husband, Michael Schreiber, Jr., eleven children: D ennis (Deb), James (Maria) and their five children: Eric, Alyssa, Brad, Mi tchell and Scott, Norbert (Susan) and their three children: Benjamin (fian ce, Katie), David and Philip, Pamela Wolff and her three children: Christo pher, Jeremy and Bryan, Michael (Lisa) and their four children: Brent, Ala nna, Samuel and Daniel, Christine (Andres) Rodriguez and their three child ren: Nicole, Skye and Chyeann, George (Lori) and their three children: Abb y, Anne and Maggie, Bruce (Wanda) of Pennsylvania; and their three childre n: Austin, Brett and Madison, Kenneth (Gwen) and their three children: Eri ca, Bryce and Kendra, Lori (Eric) Ashbrenner and their two children: Broo ke and Nathan, Stan (Dana Romenesko); three sisters: Virginia (Ron) Friebe l, Eileen (Clarence) Schneider, Lois (Ray) Schreiber, two sisters-in-la w: Mary and Linda Sprangers and a brother-in-law, Leon Hartzheim. She is a lso survived by Mike's family, Marge (Jim) Schmalz, Barb Gillis, Jerome (D ianne) Schreiber, Silvia (Gary) Brier, Bob (Mary) Schreiber, Beck (Chri s) Schreiber, Ron (Kathy) Schreiber, Joe Schreiber, Angie (Jim) Hall, Ma ry (Mike) Olson and Sue (Chuck) Jacobsen.She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Charles, Fred a nd George Jr., a sister, Lillian Hartzheim, her father and mother-in-la w: Michael and Margaret and her brother-in-law, Gerald Gillis.The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 at Holy Spir it Parish at HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Darboy with Fr. Tom Pomeroy offi ciating. Viewing and visitation will be Sunday at the Boettcher Family Fun eral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. until the Parish P rayer Service at 8 p.m. and again on Monday at Church from 10 a.m. until t he time of service. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. In l ieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
