  Garvey, Emmett J. "Red"Emmett J. "Red" Garvey, Neenah, age 71, died Friday, April 30, 2004 at h is home. He was born Aug. 4, 1932 in Appleton, son of the late James and M innie (Philipsen) Garvey. Red married Doris Smith. He was a Neenah reside nt for over 40 years. Red was formerly employed with American National Ca n, retiring in 1994. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a m ember of the American Legion Hawley Dieckhoff Post #33 of Neenah. Red w as an avid bowler for many years and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.Survivors include three sons, Mike (Cynthia) Garvey, Greenville; Dean Garv ey, Menasha; Jim Garvey, Neenah; a daughter, Ruth (Scott) Gadicke, Appleto n; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Dan (Patty) Garve y, Wrightstown; and a sister, Loretta Randall, Appleton;He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christie and a brother-in-la w, David Randall.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 5 p.m. at Neenah 's Westgor Funeral Home, with Jordan Kuczwara, Theda Care at Home Hospi ce Chaplain, officiating.
