- Richard "Rick" Ludwig, 44, Abrams, died unexpectedly Monday, May 17, 200 4. He was born on June 24, 1959, in Freedom, to Ronald and Marilyn (Anschu tz) Ludwig. Rick worked at Steigler Electric. He enjoyed camping, travelin g, bowling, working on his mustang and spending time with his family and f riends.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly; two children, Samantha and Cody, Oco nto; one stepdaughter, Rickaela "Ricki", Abrams; three brothers, Greg (Bre nda) Ludwig, De Pere; Tim (Lois) Ludwig, De Pere; Ron Ludwig and special f riend, Sara Brown, De Pere; two sisters, Rhonda Jones and special frien d, Doug Arnold, Green Bay; Penny (Dean) Thielbar, Denmark; six nephews a nd three nieces; his mother, Marilyn Ludwig and special friend, Fred Domk e, Crivitz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Ludwig; paternal grandparen ts, Joseph and Mae Ludwig; and maternal grandparents, Gladys and Henry Ans chutz.
Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9: 30 to 11 a.m. Thursday. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 200 4, at the funeral home with Deacon Walt Kaszynski officiating. Burial at H oly Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
