- Gerald M. Reynebeau, 76, Little Chute, died unexpectedly at home Friday March 20, 2009. He was born in Appleton on July 24, 1932, to the late Jack and Viola (O'barski) Reynebeau. He was a 1950 graduate of St. John High School. Gerald proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman 1st Class during the Korean War. He married Donna Stadler at St. Joseph Parish in Appleton on Nov. 25, 1953. Gerald was the founder of Tri-State Boring, as well as an Independent OTR Trucker. After retirement, he worked part-time at Fox Valley Tool and Die. He was a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Gerald was also a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, currently serving on the executive board and the firing squad. He was a former member of the Fox Valley Golf Club.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna; five children: Sherrie (Tim) Johnson, Becky (Bob) Weiske, Mike (Joy), Dan (Terri) and Dale (Kim) Reynebeau, all of Little Chute; 16 grandchildren: Greg (Angie) Johnson, Courtney (Nate) Vosters, Kristen (Craig) Meulemans, Jim Johnson, Shane, Kalyn, and Cole Weiske, Rachel (Kyle) Galloway, Matt, Erin, Clair, Kari, Ryan, Melissa, Rob and Paige Reynebeau; great grandchildren: Sophie Johnson, Cayden and Callie Vosters, Carter Galloway; sister: Karen (Jim) Mulry; and sisters and brothers-in-law: E.B. Reynebeau, Mary, Rose, Gene and Cyril (Dorie) Stadler, and Marilyn (Jim) Ebben. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Gail; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Cecelia Stadler; brother, Don Reynebeau; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerome, Jerry, Ron (Berniece) and Carol Stadler, Vin (Joyce) Vander Logt.
Visitation will be held Monday March 23, 2009, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St.) beginning at 2 p.m. until time of Mass at 5 p.m. The Rev. David J. Funk, O.F.M.
