- Irma L. Carew, 93, Appleton, passed away peacefully Friday, March 17, 200 6, at Heritage Woods. Irma was born October 28, 1912, in Little Wolf, Wisc onsin, daughter of Robert and Martha (Heymann) Schuelke. Irma married Jo hn H. Carew, January 21, 1937, in Manawa and he preceded her in death Janu ary 31, 1987. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton.Irma is survived by her daughter, Joan (Jerry) Bougie, Waunakee, WI; son s: Hugh Carew and Dennis (Ilene) Carew, both of Appleton; Tim (Jean) Car ew Arlington Heights, IL, and Jack (Lee) Carew, Canton, IL; 16 grandchildr en; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Hansen, Fond du Lac. Ir ma is further survived by many relatives and friends.Irma was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a siste r.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2006, at St. Ma ry Catholic Church, Appleton, with Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Inte rment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manawa. Friends may call at the ch urch from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been e stablished for St. Mary Catholic Church.
