- Gossen, Orville A.Orville A. Gossen, 72, De Pere, passed away Monday, August 23, 2004, at Re nnes Health Care Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Octo ber 16, 1931, in the Town of Hobart, son of the late John and Henrica (Van denheuvel) Gossen. He married Carol Lamers, September 6, 1954, at St. Pa ul Catholic Church, Wrightstown. Orville was a farmer on the home fa rm in De Pere, and later was a semi-driver for Foremost Diaries in Applet on until he retired in 1995.He was a member of St. Paul's Holy Name Society and was active in volunte er work at St. Paul's especially during the renovation project. His greate st joy was sharing good times with his grandchildren.Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Carol, De Pere; three daugh ters: Linda (Ray) Liesener, Jackson; Mary (Jerry) Kohn, Reedsville; and A nn (Michael) Dutton, Kaukauna; two sons: John (Penny) Gossen, Hilbert; a nd Orville G. (Maureen) Gossen, Hollandtown; 13 grandchildren: Alicia, Ki m, and Michael Liesener, Nicole and Jesse Kohn, Derrick, Craig, and Brittn ey Gossen, Daniel and Kayla Dutton, Maura, Jack, and Grace Gossen; two bro thers: Clarence Gossen, De Pere; and Don (Diane) Gossen, Crivitz; and t wo sisters: Johanna Gossen, De Pere; and Edna Huelsbeck, Menasha.Orville was preceded in death by his parents John and Henrica; brothers: L awrence, Bernard, Harvey, and Bob; and sister Marion; brothers-in-law: Jam es Huelsbeck, Joseph Evers; sister-in-law Ione Gossen; and godchild Dav id Evers.Family and friends may call Wednesday, August 25, 2004, from 4 p.m. to 8 p .m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown. A Parish Wake Service wi ll be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 26, 200 4, from 10 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wright stown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at chu rch, with Fr. Robert Kabat officiating. Interment will be in the church ce metery.The family extends a warm thank you to all the staff at Bellin, San Lui s, and Rennes for all the tender care they gave Orville.
