- Leona "Tootie" Beatrice Collar, age 84, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. She was born June 9, 1923, to the late McCarthy and Anna (Melchert) Huff. On August 28, 1952, she was united in marriage to Edward Collar. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2004. Leona's passion was her faith, family and friends. Everyone she met was amazed by her; her blindness was not a handicap. With eternal life, she was looking forward to seeing once again.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mark) Coffey; her grandson, Benjamin Bay; and her nephew, Harold Huff, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brothers, Frank and Harold.
Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church, 749 Silver Creek Drive, Oneida, on Friday, July 20, 2007, from 9 a.m. until the funeral services at 11 a.m., with Reverend Vernon Heim officiating.
