- DEATHS - MRS. NORA McGAHN
Mrs. Nora McGahn, 81, 931 W. Packard street, died at 3:30 yesterday afternoon at her home after a lingering illness. She was born Dec. 11, 1857, in the town of Greenville and was a school teacher in the town of Greenville and the town of Center. She had lived in Appleton for the last 40 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic church, of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, and of the Christian Mothers. Survivors are two sons, Thomas, St. Paul, Minn.: and Edward, Atlanta, Ga; a brother, John Garvey, Appleton; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Ferrell, Appleton. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Friday morning at the Wichmann Funeral home and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary church with the Rev. William Grace in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A prayer service for the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters will be held at 7:30 tonight and another for the Christian Mothers will be held at 8 o'clock Thursday evening. The body will be at the funeral home from tonight to the time of the funeral.
