  Van Vreede, Helen M.Helen M. Van Vreede, of Little Chute, died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at S t. Elizabeth Hospital. She was 87. Helen was born in Appleton on Octob er 5, 1918, to the late Joseph and Anna (Reiter) Vanden Heuvel. She marri ed Vic Van Vreede on June 5, 1941 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Churc h. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1981.Helen was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxilliary, the Golden Ag ers and the St. John Mission Club. She enjoyed golf and bowling in her ear lier years and continued to enjoy bingo and cards, particularly bridge. He len loved to travel, but cherished time she was able to spend with her fam ily - especially her grandchildren.Helen is survived by five children: Jo Ann (Ken) Diedrick, Little Chute; D ave Van Vreede, Westmont, IL; Jack (Donna) Van Vreede, Little Chute; Je ff Van Vreede, Little Chute; and Paul (Char) Van Vreede, Appleton; ten gra ndchildren: Ken (Ann) Diedrick, Teri (Randy) Porter, Jill (Chris) Timm, Ra chel and Tricia Van Vreede, Danielle (Dave) Buettner, Stephanie, Scott, B en and Tori Van Vreede; seven great-grandchildren: Haley and Cory Diedric k, Megan and Ally Timm and Savannah, Deven and Layla Buettner; sisters a nd brothers-in-law: Elaine, Catherine, Lorraine and Carl Van Vreede and Wy nne Vanden Heuvel. Helen is further survived by other relatives and friend s.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by fo ur brothers: Clarence, Bob, Jim and Tom Vanden Heuvel; brothers and sister s-in-law: Harvey, Floyd, Al and Margaret Van Vreede, Bill Weyers, Georgian na Weyers and Eleanor Vanden Heuvel.The Funeral Mass will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at St. John Nep omucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. The Rev. James Hablewitz will offic iate. The family will receive friends directly at church Tuesday after 3 p .m. until the time of Mass. Committal St. John Cemetery, Little Chut e.
