  Dolores Lopas, of Menasha, age 80 years, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at the Appleton Medical Center. She was born October 19, 1926, in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Henrietta (Micke) Mischler. Dolores was employed in the deli at the Piggly Wiggly, Menasha, and retired at the age of 80 years. She raised her four children and enjoyed making quilts and blankets for her family members. Dolores was an avid collector of hats and pins. She was an active member of the Fox Valley Rainbow Club. She is survived by her children: Robert (Julie) Lopas, Oshkosh; Steve "Pete" Lopas, Menasha and Christine Lopas, Appleton; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Dolores is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Lopas; her son, James A. "Chuck" Lopas; and sister, Ceil Ryba. The funeral service for Dolores will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2007, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL.
