- Margaret H. Moyer, 92, King, Wis., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Stordock Hall, King. She was born in Kaukauna, Wis., on July 24, 1918, a daughter of the late William and Katharyn (Kentenhofer) Van Lieshout.
She married Byron Moyer on Oct. 14, 1942, in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1986. Margaret was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for many years.
Survivors include two children, Joseph (Susan) Moyer, Waupaca, Wis.; Kathryn Moyer, Bluffton, S.C.; grandchildren, Rebecca (Kit) Vongsa, Oshkosh, Wis.; James (Jennifer) Moyer, Waupaca, Wis.; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Moyer, Waupaca, Wis.; and sister, Patsy Zucca, Sacramento, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron; a grandson, Bart; and 14 siblings.
Memorial Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, with Pastor Gary Strike officiating. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
