- Harold H. Lamers Kimberly Age 83, passed away February 1, 2001. He was born February 25, 1917 to Edw ard and Anna (Vandenheuvel) Lamers. He married Lois Wagner on October 2 6, 1940 at Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna. He was a member of the Kimber ly American Legion. He worked for Kimberly Clark for 39 years, and then f or Mid Tech Paper Company for two years. Both Harold and Lois were fost er parents for Outagamie County for over 20 years. He served in WWII for t hree and half years, he was in the 18th Chemical Division, then transferr ed to the infantry. He enjoyed horseshoes, bowling, golfing, cards, and fi shing at his cabin at Shute Pond in Mountain.
He is survived by his wife Lois, his children: Charlene Mitchell and frie nd Ken, Appleton; William (Janet) Lamers, Sussex; Gerilyn (Don) Larson, Ho ffman Estates, Illinois; three grandchildren: Shawn (Phillip) Christenso n, Seymour; LeeAnn (Brad) Werner, Kaukauna; Ben Lamers, Sussex. three grea t-grandchildren: Trevor Christenson, Zach Werner, Annalise Werner. Speci al foster children: Sue (Pat) Hnilicka,and children, Lander, Wyoming; Ma ry (Paul) Leitermann and children, Appleton; Barb (Mark) Mangold, and chil dren, Kaukauna; Beth DeWall, Appleton; many nieces and nephews. Brother a nd sister-in-law: Charles (Marge) Wagner, Sussex; Frank (Rita) Wagner, Flo rida; sister-in-law: Ruth Kieffer, Kaukauna; He was preceded in death b y: Five sisters and brothers -in-law: Hattie (Pete) Behling, Jose (Ted) Va nCuyke, Rose (Joe) Sanderfoot, Martha (Henry) Weyenberg, Jean (Bill) Bonze let. Also four brothers and sisters-in-law: John (Margaret) Lamers, Ted (M innie) Lamers, Jake (Marie) Lamers, Clarence (Irene) Lamers, and brother-i n-law: Elmer Kieffer.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 3, 2001, from 10:30 a.m. to no on at Holy Name Church in Kimberly. A Memorial Service will be held at noo n.
