- Kerrigan, Gordon F.Gordon F. Kerrigan, Kaukauna, age 83, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 1 6, 2005 at Cherry Meadows after a seven-year courageous battle with multip le myeloma. Gordon was born May 20, 1922 in the Town of Kaukauna to John a nd Jennie (McDaniel) Kerrigan. He married the former Blanche Sanderfo ot on September 23, 1947 at St. John's in Little Chute. Together they shar ed 57 years of marriage. Gordon entered the U.S. Medical Corps on Octob er 16, 1942 and served with the 3rd Army 664 Division until his honorab le discharge on November 3, 1945. After the war, he worked at Kimberly-Cla rk until he established his dairy farm in the Town of Kaukauna. Gordon wor ked the farm until his retirement at which time he sold the property th at was then developed as part of Royal St. Patrick's Golf Course. He serv ed on the Town of Kaukauna Town Board, Apple Creek School Board of Educati on and the Wrightstown High School Board of Education. Gordon will be fond ly remembered by all who enjoyed the delicious sweet corn he grew and so ld every year.He is survived by his wife, Blanche; nine children: Nancy (Larry) DeGroo t, Carla (Harry) Reichwald, Lyle (Sandie) Kerrigan, Jane (Greg) Larson, Ca rol (Jeff) Meulemans, Mark (Jeanne) Kerrigan, Joan (Tim) Zak, Lynn (Jef f) Laack and Mike Kerrigan, 19 grandchildren; Scott DeGroot, Greg (Heathe r) DeGroot, Brian (Nicki) Kerrigan, Kevin (Shawna) Kerrigan, David Kerriga n, Curt (Tracy) Coenen, Michelle (Scott) Tease, Eric Larson, Corrie (Patri ck) Crothers, Nicci (Josh) Verbeten, Kyle (Trisha) Meulemans, Rochelle Meu lemans, Mason Meulemans, Kari (Mike) Besel, Keith Kerrigan, Jarred Zak, Ty ler Zak, Kristin Laack and Connor Laack, nine great-grandchildren; his sis ter, Rosella (Ray) Vander Heiden, and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kerriga n. He is further survived by Blanche's family: Ceil Weyenberg, Joyce Tied t, Joe (Rachel) Sanderfoot, Bob (Mary) Sanderfoot, godchildren: Sally Dick enson, Lori Verhagen and Mary Jane Volkman.He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Kerrigan and his grandson, Chr is Reichwald, his parents: John and Jennie (McDaniel) Kerrigan, brother s: Elmer, Patrick, Earl and Harvey Kerrigan; his sister, Gladys Ver Voor t; brother-in-law, John Ver Voort. He was further preceded in death by h is wife's family, brothers-in-law: Nathan Tiedt and Melvin (Lefty) Weyenbe rg, his mother and father-in-law: Joseph and Rose Sanderfoot.Gordon's Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 20 05 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown with Rev. MSG R. John Schuh officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 1 8, 2005 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukaun a, from 4 until 8 p.m. and again on Friday at Church from 10 until the ti me of service. Full Military Burial Rites will take place outside of Chur ch after the service. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting the f amily.Dad showed tremendous courage during his seven-year battle with multiple m yeloma. He lived life to the fullest always surrounded by family and frien ds. His compassion, wisdom and sense of humor were with him until the ve ry end.
