- Reider, Richard R. "Rich"Richard Reider of Kimberly, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Appleton Medic al Center at the age of 82. He was born May 30, 1923, in Little Chute, t he son of the late Raymond and Susan (Hammen) Reider. Rich married Margar et Peeters on Sept. 10, 1946, at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute a nd she preceded him in death on Oct. 21, 1981. He served in the U.S. Ar my during WWII in the European Theater. Richard was a pipefitter at Kimber ly-Clark - Kimberly Mill retiring after many years of service. He was a fo rmer member of the Kimberly Volunteer Fire Department and the William Verh agen Post 60 of the American Legion in Kimberly. Rich was a member of t he Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Kimberly and the Harvey Pierre VFW Post 27 78 of Appleton.Rich is survived by his daughters: Judy (Michael) Borg and Carol (Terry) O lmstead, both of Appleton; six grandchildren: Sean and Bonnie Borg; Lor in (Shannon) Blowers; Tyler, Danielle and Tiffany Olmstead; three great-gr andchildren: Randi and Cody Blowers and DJ Olmstead; brothers-in-law: J im (Ida) Peeters. Little Chute, Jerry (Joanne) Peeters. Neenah, Fr. Ambro se Peeters. DePere, Henry "Fritz" (Mary) Peeters. Kalamazoo, MI and Pete ( Aggie) Peeters. Kalamazoo, MI; sisters-in-law: Doris Heiss of Appleton a nd Joanne Peeters. Kalamazoo, MI; nephews: Mike (Linda) and Tom (Cheryl) R eider both of Minneapolis, MN. He is further survived by other nieces, nep hews, relatives and friends, including his special friends at Hallmark Pla ce.Richard was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, brother Donald (Kati e) Reider and brothers and sisters-in-law.The funeral liturgy for Rich will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, Jan. 9, 20 06, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. Tom Po meroy officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery with mi litary honors by the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60. Friends m ay call at the Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass.
