  HOLD SERVICES FOR LITTLE CHUTE MAN Special to Post-Crescent Little Chute - Funeral services for Joseph De Groot, 22, who died Thursday at his home here after a lingering illness were held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. John church. Solemn requiem high mass was sung by the Rev. John J. Sprangers of this village assisted by the Rev. Theodore Verbeten of Elcho and the Rev. Joseph W. Jansen of this place. Members of the Little Chute Community band and the Se- nior Holy Name society of St. John church of which the decedent was a member, attended the funeral in a body. Bearers were: Sylvester Jansen, Clarence Verstegen, Isidore Lucassen, Robert Verstegen, Joseph Wynboom and Alois Weyenberg. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. The decedent had lived in this village ali of bis life and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ella De Groot, one brother, John and three sisters, Isabelle and Barbara of Little Chute and Mrs. John Vandenberg of Kaukauna.
