- Willems Van Dijk, Eileen (nee: Kons)(nee: Wolff)Passed away Saturday Aug. 16, 2003. Eileen was born April 11, 1927 in Appl eton, Wisc. Daughter of Jacob and Anna (Heimmermann) Kons. She married Em il Wolff on October 18, 1947. They enjoyed 16 years together until his Ju ly 7, 1964 death. Eileen married Gerardus (Gerry) Willems Van Dijk on Augu st 13, 1966 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy. Eileen dedicated h er life to homemaking, being a mother of six children and six stepchildre n. Eileen enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Chicago Cubs.She is survived by her husband Gerardus and twelve children: Rita Wolff, A ppleton; Raymond (Lois) Wolff, Neenah, Robert (Suzanne) Wolff, Winneconn e; Carol (Larry) Mc Brair, Oshkosh; Mary (David) Burch, Appleton; John (Ju lie) Willems Van Dijk, Wausau; Maria (Jim) Faul, Appleton; Henry Willems V an Dijk, Appleton; Anthony (Mary) Willems Van Dijk, Cary, Ill; Cornelia (B rian) Gossen, Menasha. Eileen is also survived by 22 grandchildren; Brya n, Stacy, Nathan, Jessica, and Jaclyn Wolff; Marcos, Clifford, Amanda, a nd Samuel Burch; Craig and Lisa McBrair; Erin, Anthony, Gavin and Garre tt DeCleene; Daniel, Carolyn, Audrey, Lauren, and Jacob Willems Van Dij k; Bradley Gossen; and Jerek Obry; four step-grandchildren, and four great -grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She is further surviv ed by her brothers: Alex (Crescentia) Kons, Philippine Islands; Merlyn (Ma rie) Kons, Ogdensburg, Jacob (Rose) Kons, Richardson, TX; Leander Kons, Ha yton; Hugo (Sharon) Kons, Appleton and Gerald (Mary) Kons, Crystal Lake, I ll. Her sisters: Diane (LeRoy) Matuszak, Appleton, Kathleen (Micah) Oried o, Madison; sisters-in-law: Laverne Kons, Menasha; Dorothy Kons, Neenah; J ohanna (Mathys) Spanjers, Menasha; Jacoba (Ted) Timmers, Darboy; Johanna W illems Van Dijk, Holland; Henrica Van Dongen, Holland; Wim (Gerda) Wille ms Van Dijk, Holland; and many nieces and nephews.Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Katherine; f our brothers: Bernard, Norman, Gregory and infant brother Adrian Kons; T wo brothers-in-law: Albert Williams Van Dijk, and Willy Van Dongen; two ne phews, James and George Kons; and son-in-law, Arthur "Bill" DeCleene.A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at St. G abriel the Archangel Catholic Church in Neenah. A visitation will be he ld from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, 2003 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral H ome and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In terment will take place in Holy Angels Catholic Church Cemetery, Darboy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundati on.
