  GEORGE PEKEL George Pekel. 55, died at his home at 1000 Morrison-st Thursday morning after he had taken ill suddenly Tuesday while in the employ of the Appleton Wood Products company. He was conveyed to his home in an unconscious state from which he never recovered. Besides his widow, three brothers, Lambert, of Crandon, William, of Milwaukee, and John, of Appleton, and two sisters, Mrs. George Barrett of Pekin, Ill., and Mrs. Anton Seidel of Sherwood, survive. The funeral will take place at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Joseph church, with interment at St. Joseph cemetery. Mr. Peke! was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
