  Alice A. Berrens, 1305 E. harriet, Appleton, age 57, died Monday, August 24, 1987, at Appleton Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born January 23, 1930 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late Julius and Anna C. Falk Apitz. She attended Kaukauna Public School. She was married to William Berrens on May 4, 1953 in Waukegan, Illinois; they resided in Appleton all of their married lives where Mrs. Berrens was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband William; a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Robert Wanda LeClair, Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Jean Berrens, Minneapolis, Minnesota; three grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Helen LoderBauer, Sherwood; and Mrs. Esther Loderbauer, Kaukauna; two brothers and sister-in-law: Julius and Ingeborg Apitz, Appleton; and Clifford and Virginia Apitz, Winter Haven, Florida. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 1987, at the Valley Funeral Home, with Rev. Willis Bloebow of the First English Lutheran Church, Appleton, Officiating. There will be no visitation preceding the service at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given according to the wishes of the family. See Also Kaukauna Times 9/1/1987
