- Halbach, LucilleLucille Halbach, 83, of 433 Saratoga St., Chilton, and formerly of St. Ann a, died peacefully Saturday evening, December 17, 2005 at Calumet Homeste ad Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where she resided the past two wee ks. She was the former Lucille Watry born February 23, 1922, in Johnsbur g, daughter of the late Isadore & Magdaline Karls Watry. Lucille attend ed St. Ann Catholic Grade School in St. Anna. On January 30, 1945, she mar ried Edward Halbach at St. Ann Catholic Church, St. Anna. Edward preced ed her in death on March 3, 1989. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Chu rch, St. Anna, and the Christian Women's Society. She was an avid quilte r, enjoyed sewing, gardening and family genealogy.Survivors include four sons: Merlin (Patricia) Halbach, Chilton, Francis ( Rose) Halbach, Town of Russell, Earl Halbach, Town of Russell, Ralph Halba ch, St. Albans, VT; two daughters, Kathryn (Jerry) Ott, Hilbert, Arlene (M arty) Buechel, New Holstein; thirteen grandchildren & ten great-grandchild ren. She is further survived by one brother, Jerome Watry, Florida; sev en sisters: Leona Ortlieb, New Holstein, Angie Schuh, Kiel, Millie Voge l, Chilton, Bernie Halbach, Kiel, Pat (Paul) Rieder, Florida, Lorraine (Pe te) Winkel, Marytown, Joanne (Elsworth) Thome, Johnsburg; one brother-in-l aw, Jim Halbach, Florida and two uncles, Norman & John Karls, Chilton.She was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Halbach; and brothers & s isters-n-law, Ervin & Lorraine Schmitz, Gilbert & Mary Halbach, Hank Schu h, Ray Vogel, Bob Ortlieb, Edmund Halbach & Jackie Watry.Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wed., December 21, 2005, at St. A nn Catholic Church, St. Anna, with Rev. Harold Berryman officiating. Buri al will take place in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Meiselw itz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th. St., Kiel, on Tues., December 20, 200 5, from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. un til 11 a.m. when brief family rites will be held.
