- EMAIL Date: 7/25/2005 7:32:59 AM Pacific Standard Time From: jenglebert@chorus.n et No, I do not have a record of the marriage of Charles Appleton and Mary Geldernick. All I have is the family story that Mary went to help out with the kids after Elizabeth died and ended up marrying Charles Appleton. They were my mother's god-parents, and I have a bible that she received from them signed on the front flap Uncle Charlie and Aunt Mary Appleton. I haven't had time to research that information farther. Unfortunately my mother passed away before I really got started with my serious research so I wasn't able to get more information from her.
