  Mrs. Emma L. Puls, 83, long-time resident of Shiocton, died at 8:46 Monday night in New London after a long illness. She was born in Milwaukee on Oct. 25, 1874. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at First Lutheran church, Shiocton, with burial in Highland Memorial park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Sawyer Funeral home, Shiocton, until noon Wednesday and then at the church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Emerich, Hortonville, and Mrs. Wilbur Levezow, Appleton; one son, Elmer, Milwaukee; two brothers, Emil and Ernest Springstroh, both of Appleton; one sister, Mrs. Robert Plamann, Appleton; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren." 11/12/1957 Appleton Post Crescent page 36
