- Hester Gehrman, 83, of Kimberly, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2009, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Hester was born on October 28, 1925, to the late Alfred and Ida Capeheart in Harrisburg, IL. She was married to Herman Gehrman. Hester was a registered nurse and retired from the Kaukauna Hospital. She was a member of AARP, Peace United Methodist Church and helped deliver meals on wheels when she was able to.
Hester is survived by three children: Stephen C. (Nancy) Gehrman, Brillion; Greg Gehrman, New Berlin; Jennifer (Mark Seis) Gehrman, Durango, CO; four grandchildren: Laura, Mike, Emma and Max, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2300 Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, with Rev. Tom Lambrecht officiating. Entombment will be in the Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave., and on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace United Methodist Church.
