- Anna M. Brusky, 89, Kewaunee, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc. She was born Jan. 23, 1918, in Kewaunee County, to the late Charles and Anna (Skubal) Repitz. She married John G. Brusky June 26, 1935 and he preceded her in death June 1966. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church, now St. Therese Parish and a former member of the Rosary Society.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Emilie and Jerome Brezinski, Kewaunee; Betty and LeRoy Duerschmidt, Burnsville, Minn.; Genevieve and George Taylor, Two Rivers; and Patricia and Con Hemmesch, Bloomington, Minn.; one son, Dr. John Brusky, Valders, Wis.; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Estelle Krueger, Manitowoc.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and one daughter-in-law, Janice Brusky; two sisters, Sylvia Seidl and her husband, Arthur and Lillian Smidel and her husband, Charles; and a brother-in-law, Milton Krueger.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at St. Hedwig Church, East Krok until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at the church with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Tower One of St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc where she was residing.
