  Mildred is the 2nd (Middle) daughter of John Hugo Droske and Ellen Francis Gray.This is my grandma Van Rooy's sister.Mildred was the Black Sheep of the girls.She went to college like grandma.Mildred started a Beauty Shop in Little Chute.She took chances.She also taught High School in Manawa, Wisconsin. She had an Irish temper.Was "picky".She had blue eyes and brown hair. She was first married to Erv in Oshkosh?Mildred liked to go out with the guys.Grandma is a little embarrassed about Mildred's behavior.Mildred left Erv for a man named Joe Hinkens.Joe had just had his 10th child when they went off to California together. Before she went out to California, I'm told by grandma, that my aunt Ellen stayed with Mildred while Ellen had Rheumatoid fever (probably so the other kids wouldn't catch it).Ellen says that she was able to be pretty wild, free to do whatever she wanted when with Mildred. Grandma went out to California to visit Mildred one time. Another tidbit:Every Sunday Mildred would come over to visit her mom and dad for dinner.They played the piano.Kids liked it.
