    Mrs. Lynch, the mother of Mrs. P. Maloney, died at the residence of the latter Sunday afternoon. The deceased was quite an old lady, and died suddenly sitting in a chair. Her funeral took place Tuesday, from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.

    Deaths - Mrs. P. Maloney died suddenly at her home in the town of Oconto, Nov. 4, of heart disease. She was found dead in the barn, where she had gone to feed the horse. The body was brought to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Sliger, in the South ward. The funeral will be held Saturday forenoon from St. Joseph's church. She was 65 years of age.

    Sept. 13, 1884
    The barn on Patrick Maloney farm in the town of Oconto and about four miles from this city, was with fifteen tons of hay and a large quantity of peas, destroyed by fire early Saturday morning last. During the night, festivities had been held at the house, in honor of Patrick Maloney Jr., marriage, and it is thought that in going away, somebody carelessly threw a lighted cigar stub among the stuff in the barn, which caused the fire. Loss about $800. and no insurance.
