  Family History Researcher	Michael's parents were Mathias and Catherine Seimetz from Wadrill, Merzig, Saarland. That is near Weiskirchen. Angela's parents were Mathias Clasen and Catherine Weiland. Mathias was born 31 Jul 1750 in Weiskirchen, son of Adam Clasen and Maria(maiden name unknown. He married Catherine Weiland, daughter of Adam Weiland and Margaret(maiden name unknown)4 Feb 1790. Have other information, if you are interested. Frank & JoEllen Simon Our family immigrated between 1840 and 1843, landing in NY and then going directly to Milwaukee area. Some may have gone as far south as Chicago. There was a John Peter, son of Nicolaus Simon and Maria Catherine Mertes, who was born Dec of 1832. Don't know where he went after Milwaukee. Trier is the archdiocese for the area that our family is from, Wadrill and Weiskirchen, Merzig, Saarland. It is close to the Lorraine area.
