Little Chute Historical Society
The Little Chute Historical Society was officially organized in 2000 and began its work in January 2001. The bylaws were adopted in September of that year and approved by the IRS as a non-profit organization. The purpose of the Society is to gather and preserve all historical data and artifacts from the Village of Little Chute. In addition, it will gather the family histories of every family that lives and/or lived in Little Chute. Further, the Society will work to educate and assist any persons who are interested in gathering this data.
Kaukauna Area Historical Society
The KAHS disbanded in 2016. Most of their holdings were donated to the Kaukauna Library.
The Mission of the Historical Society is to preserve, document and share the history of Kaukauna.
If you are interested in joining KAHS, meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month in January, March, May, July, September and November at 6:00 in the Haen Room at St. Paul Elder Services (312 East 14th Street Kaukauna). New members are always welcome.
Fox Valley Genealogy Society

At the June 2, 2011 meeting of the Fox Valley Genealogical Society a quorum of the membership voted to accept the recommendation of the FVGS Board of Directors to disband the Fox Valley Genealogical Society. But, several volunteers from the board will be keeping the web site up and active as long as we are able.
Freedom Area Historical Society
A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization representing the Towns of Center, Freedom, Kaukauna, Oneida & Osborn. They have a web page and also a Facebook Page
Bay Area Genealogy Society (BAGS)
The Bay Area genealogical Society was founded in 1975 to educate people in genealogical research techniques and to make historical and genealogical material available to the general public. We locate and compile original materials and acquire donations of genealogical books and materials.

Brown County Historical Society
The Brown County Historical Society was officially founded as the Green Bay Historical Society on October 21, 1899 by a dedicated group of local historians. Throughout its long history, BCHS members have been active in preserving historic buildings, conducting research, providing information to the public, and stimulating interest in the complex multi-cultural heritage of the area.
Wrightstown Historical Society
The Mueller-Wright House was built in the 1850s by village founder Hoel Wright and later owned by the Mueller family. The home is furnished with period pieces from the latter 1800s. The museum is the repository of the accumulated history of Wrightstown and surrounding towns. The collection of artifacts, documents and photos tell the story of the area from Wright\’s arrival in the 1830s until today. There is also a Local History Library for people researching the Wrightstown area.
Wisconsin Historical Society
The Society was founded in 1846, two years before Wisconsin became the 30th state, and it ranks as one of the largest, most active, and most diversified state historical societies in the nation. As both a state agency and a private membership organization, it receives about 60 percent of its funding from the state of Wisconsin. The other 40 percent comes from membership fees, admission fees, gifts, trust funds and grants. A 36-member Board of Curators governs the Society.
