  See Image The Kaukauna Sun dated Thursday Septemb er 26th, 1912, Mrs. Arnold Verstegen, Mrs. Arnold Verstegen, age 72 yea rs died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. V.D. Wymelenberg at Wrightsto wn on Saturday after an illness of a few days. She was born in Holland. Mrs. Verstegen was the wife of Arnold Verstegen of Little Chute who di ed several years ago. She is the mother of Joe, Cornelius and Frank Verst egen and Mrs. Martin Hartjes of Little Chute and Arnold and Peter of Freed om. She also leaves five stepchildren, John, Herman and Mrs. Martin Coone nn of Little Chute, Mrs. John Hooyman of Freedom and, Mrs. J. V.D. Wymelen berg of Wrightstown. The Verstegen family is one of the most prominent a nd highly respected of any in this section. The respondents were pionee rs in this section besides being actively engaged in business and other lo cal pursuits. Deceased was of a kind and loving disposition, a true Chris tian and a good neighbor. She had many friends throughout the Fox River v alley. The funeral services were held in St. Paul's Catholic Church at Wr ightstown. Internment was made in the family lot in the Little Chute ceme tery. A special interurban car brought the Little Chute relatives to Wrig htstown and return.
