  JOHN ELLENBECKER - John J. Ellenbecker, 80, Edgar, died Wednesday, March 5, in the Marshfield Hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1905, in Appleton,son of John Ellenbecker, Sr. and Mary Ellenbecker. He was married toAlvina Petrowski, Nov 27, 1930, in the town of Cassel. She survives.For many years Mr. Ellenbecker was a foreman at Standard Container,Edgar. He retired in 1971. In his early years he enjoyed fishing. Healso enjoyed playing cards. He wasa member of the Holy Name Society ofSt. John's Catholic Church, Edgar. Survivors, besides his wife, includetwo daughters, Mrs. Ted (Beverly) Nordlund,Wausau, and Mrs. Alan (Pat)Flom, Los Gatos, California; three sisters, Mrs.Sylvester (Barbara)Schedcik, Spencer, Mrs. George (Helen) Spaeth, Stratford, and Mrs. Walt(Veronica) Juedes, Wausau and three grandchildren. Services were he10:30 AM Saturday at the Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and at 11AM at St.John's Catholic Church, Edgar. Concelebrants were the Rev. Oscar Cramerand Rev. thomas Rudolph. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Friendscalled after 3 PM on Friday at the funeral home, where there was a parirosary said at 8 PM. Pallbearers were Tim Nordlund, Dave Nordlund,Bernell Ellenbecker, Ken Rybold, Bob Rybold and Emmett Schilling. Taken from newspaper clipping from Marshfield area.
