  Erdine E. Selle, Dale, age 71, passed away peacefully at Appleton Medical Center on Thursday, March 22, 2007, with family by her side. She was born October 23, 1935, in Medina, the daughter of Erwin and Anna Borgwardt. On June 20, 1953, she was married to Donald Selle and they celebrated 40 years together. Erdine was a faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Luth-eran Church in Dale; where she had been involved in choir, Ladies Aid and many other activities. Erdine was employed by Zaug's Vending and Ryder Truck Rental in her earlier years. She gave her time generously to help others; as a volunteer at New London Family Medical Center, was involved in the Relay for Life cancer walk, and for 30 years helped on the Dale election board. Polka dancing was something Erdine very much enjoyed with all her friends. The Selle family has in past and present been involved in racing and Erdine loved to watch! Erdine is survived by four sons: Gary (Connie), Weyauwega; Terry (Kim), Dale; David (Chrissie), Fremont; Darwin (Bonnie) Dale; two sisters: Gertrude Huettle, Medina; Elsie Rieckmann, Appleton; a sister in-law, Diane Wolfe, New London; a brother in-law, Doug (Leah) Selle, Dale; grandchildren: Eric, Lindsey, Candy, Brandon, Matthew, Ashley, Erika, and Vanessa Selle, Erin and Linsey Rutten, Angie (Ronnie) Lund, Ryan, Eric and Michael Goddeyne, and two great grandchildren: Connor and Taelyn. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, a very special friend Al Meyer, Winneconne and also other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services for Erdine will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dale, with Rev. Lyle Luchterhand officiating. Interment will be in the Dale Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville, on Sunday, March 25, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
