- La Rue, Blanche nee: LambieBlanche La Rue, Larsen, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 20 04 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center with her son Tom at her side. Blanc he was born on January 6, 1916 in the Town of Kaukauna, daughter of the la te George and Carrie (Simpson) Lambie. She married George La Rue on June 1 2, 1934. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1989. The couple owned and op erated Georges Barber Shop in the Town of Larsen until his death. They enj oyed spending weekends at their northern Wisconsin cottage and were a devo ted couple for over 50 years.Blanche is survived by her five sons: Kenneth (Judy), Weyauwega; Duane (Sh irley), Oshkosh; Thomas (Barbara), Waupaca; Denis (Shirley), Wausaukee; La wrence La Rue of Menasha; two sisters: Betty Bastian and Georgia Arnd t; 12 grandchildren: Mike, Chris, Amy, Steve, Doug, Jeff, Jason, Heathe r, Clint, Melissa, Tracie and Tammie; 13 great-grandchildren; and two grea t-great grandsons.Blanche was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her beloved granddaug hter, Jessica Mayefski; two sisters: Esther Nelson and Edna Tank; and h er only brother, Stanley Lambie.The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2 004, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. In terment will be in St. Margaret’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may ca ll at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.The family would like to thank the wonderful people at the Center and D r.
