  JOSEPH MURPHY IS DEAD AT KAUKAUNA Succumbs Thursday Morn- ing at Residence After Brief Illness Kaukauna - Joseph. Murphy, 61. Died at his home on Depot-st at 10:30 Thursday morning following a two week's illness. Born in Covington, Kentucky, Murphy came to Kaukauna at the age of 11 years, residing here since. He was employed at the Union Bag and Paper Co. for the past 31 years. He served on the fire and police commision for a three year term, and was a member of Fraternal Or- -der of Eagles, Kaukauma Aerie No. 1416. Survivors are one brother, Tom, of Kaukauna.; rwo sisters, Mrs. Frank McClintock, Newton, Kas; and Mrs- Margaret Robinson, Dodge City, Kan.. Funeral services probably will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning in Holy Cross church with Rev. Al- red Schmitz in charge. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery. A. Schmitz in charge. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were W. H. Cooper, Peter Renn, Florian Mocco, M.H. Niesen, Thomas Hinchey, and John Simon. Honorary pall bearers were Officers Harold Engersoa and John Haid of the police department; W. Martzahl, W. Speebt, H. Esler, and C. Engerson of tee fire department; and Louis J. Faust, A. Kromer, A. M. Sehmalz, and W. Breier of the fire and police commission.
