- Marie D. Spreeman, age 93, New London, passed away on February 9th, 2015. She was born on January 2nd, 1922, in Greenville, daughter of the late Ervin and Lena (Braun) Peters. On August 18th, 1945, Marie was united in marriage to Carlyle Spreeman, he preceded her in death in 2002. She was a well known quilter; she also enjoyed gardening, flowers and cooking.
Marie is survived by daughters, Pat (Larry) Guerin, Knoxville, TN; Bev Spreeman (special friend, Martin Jansen) New London; Deb (Ron) Dretzke, New London; sons, Ed (Rosey) Spreeman, West Bend; Tom (Kitty) Spreeman, Reno, NV; sister, Maizie (Paul) Nilles, Westminster, CO; sister-in-law, Ginny Peters, Greenville. She is further survived by fourteen grandchildren , eleven great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 brothers, Bob, Dick and Bill and also other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held for Marie on Thursday, February 12th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London, with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton.
