  Clarence W. Sturn, age 90, Menasha, passed away Friday morning, November 16, 2007, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Clarence was born November 30, 1916, in Stradford, WI, the son of the late William and Magdalena (Probst) Sturn. Clarence served his country in the United States Army from 1940 to 1945 during WWII in the European Theater. He married Evelyn Anna Meyer on October 27, 1945, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. He had been employed for 40 years at Strohmeyer Excavating formerly Zeininger Transfer and Excavating. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and bowling. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; his children: Wayne (Nancy) Sturn, Appleton; Daniel (Jane) Sturn, Menasha; Paul (Barb) Sturn, Neenah; Nancy (Gary) Trader, Menasha; Tom Sturn, Neenah; Peter (Debbie) Sturn, Neenah; Richard Sturn, Menasha; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends: Sister Paulette and Pam Mason. He is further survived by two sisters-in-law: Gen Sturn and Katherine Engelhardt; and a brother-in-law, Jack Arnoldussen; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his son Jim, his brothers: Raymond, Victor, Johnny, Walter and Harold, his sisters: Edna and Florence, and two grandchildren: Jonathon and Andrew.
